Examples of Strategic Gameplay
Example of changing or preparing cards before gameplay begins (See Video on Page 3 and on YouTube)
A has 4 face up cards which consists of 1, RESET, 10 and 7 in his hand he got 4 , 8 , 13 , 15 , REPLAY , SPITE , SPITE ALL From the table A remove the 1, 10 and 7 cards and in their place from his hand he replace these cards with the Spite, Replay and 15 cards placing them on the table and leaving player A with 1, 4, 7, 8, 10, 13 and Spite All cards in his hand and Reset, Spite, Replay and 15 cards showing on the table. The face down cards is left alone until the four face-
When every player did the same play continues from your hand until it is empty then play shifts to the table. When Player A starts play from the table the 15 card may be the first card to play since value cards cannot be blocked later. Since 15 is the highest number
Player A may block and or force other players to draw a card from the draw pile. The Replay card would strategically be better to play last since player A can then play any face down card from the table immediately regardless of value.
3 or more Players (using 3 Players) Spite card
Player A must play and on the top discard deck is a value card of 10
Player B plays from the table showing an 11 as his last playable card
Player C also plays from the table and has a Reset and a 12 value card Player A plays from his hand and has a top value card of 9 and a Spite card as his only cards before he can play the cards on the table.
Options of A
1. A can play the Spite card as B must pick up a card and must wait a round before he can play again and try to get rid of the card in hand before returning to the last card on the table. This option will give C a chance to play his 12 card which is higher than B's 11 card taking his (A) chances on the draw pile after the 12 is played (C may play the reset card) Strange things happens in this game.
2. Since A knows that he got a 9 value card and he will have to pick up once the 12 card of C has been played he can pick up from the draw pile and then select the best card that will help him with future play. Unfortunately this card is exactly the card B would draw if A selected option 1 first so he may add up to his own problems. Player A may end up playing the Spite card anyway. Remember I mentioned Karma? ;) Remember by getting a card into the hand of Player B the rules for player B changes immediately as he need to get rid of the new card in hand before he can get back to his last card on the table.
Playing Spite All card
The discard pile shows a value of 13 Player A have a Spite All and a 14 card in his hand and it is his turn to play Player B plays from his hand and nothing is known of his cards but A knows that B had picked up during his last turn Player C has 2 remaining cards on the table and only a 13 shows on his face up card Player A plays the SPITE ALL and now B and C MUST pick up a card from the draw pile. Then it is B's turn to play, if both B and C picks up again during their normal play turns A can play his last card in his hand, which is a 14 value card, which may force B and C to draw again! Normal play continues from here on and A can now play from the table as he had emptied his hand.
End of Game Strategy Replay card
Player A got 2 cards to play, a Replay card in hand and on the table in front of him is only a low numbered card which would be his last card. On the Discard pile there is a high numbered card. It is now his turn to play. Player A will play the, Replay card, immediately resetting the Discard pile. A can now place his last card on the table on the Discard pile and thus ending the game with victory.
